Summary: Front desk clerk was friendly, competent, helpful. Front office area is under renovation, so upon arrival called number posted on door, waited less than 5 minutes for clerk to come from sister site a couple blocks away. We didn't use breakfast here, so can't comment on that. Our room was clean as far as being wiped down good, dusted, etc. But floor needed attention, white bottoms of my houseshoes turned black while we were there for 3 nights. Beds were clean, good pillows, comfortable mattress on one, the other mattress was lopsided. Was thankful for bright lighting above vanity area, unlike majority of other hotels we've stayed in where inadequate lighting makes getting ready very hard. Water in shower was good pressure, and a good showerhead. There was food left in fridge by previous renters, and the sink was almost completely plugged (I felt housekeeping should have been aware of, and had these issues taken care of) - maintenance took care of the sink, housekeeping took the food away. Room renovations were nice. Linens and amenities were plentiful and good quality. Parking lot and outside clean and well lit, felt safe outside after dark. Hotel is right off main highway thru town, convenient to the shows and restaurants we normally frequent. We would probably stay here again.
