Private and peaceful 1.5 acres fully fenced riverfront home in beautiful Crystal River, FL. This home sits on 270 feet of the Withlacoochee River. Screen enclosed heated pool (85°), electric fireplace, boat dock, canoe/kayak launch, electric security gate, paved driveway, updated kitchen & baths there is so much to enjoy. Deep water with direct gulf access for scallops and saltwater fishing or drop your boat from the ramp 5 minutes up the road at Lake Rousseau for fresh water fishing. When you take a break from the river in this beautiful property with scattered oak trees, fire pit, horseshoes and cornhole.
This spacious home offers 3300 square feet of living space, so there is room for large groups to comfortably enjoy! Inside is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast nook and coffee/cocktail bar. Great room seats 12 at the extra large dining table and seats 8 in the comfortable leather recliners facing the stone fireplace and 65" plasma with Direct TV. We do provide a variety of DVD titles to enjoy. We now have high speed internet so you work while enjoying the view.
Venture into the bunk/game room for foosball, basketball skill shot, video game or board/card game. Need a quiet place to watch the nature while still try out Mermaid lounge. How about a puzzle in the Sunroom Library. You will be able to enjoy all of this with 60 feet of windows looking out to the river. Want to be right on top of the the screened Gazebo is perfect for you to watch the river go by, with the sounds of mullet jumping and the birds singing. You might even see one of our winter visitors, the wonderful manatee or spy a Whitetail deer foraging for food across the river or an otter swimming off the dock.
When it's time to finally rest your head, you have the choice of a large primary bedroom with a comfy king bed, reading nook, walk-in closet and ensuite w/shower. The 2nd bedroom also has a king, the 3rd bedroom has 2 queens. All share the hallway guest bath which has a tub. In the bunk/game room on the opposite side of the main bedrooms there's 3 full beds and 2 twins. Two additional twin beds are set up in the Sunroom overlooking the river. With 11 beds, this home sleeps 13-15 very comfortably.
There is so much to keep you happy and busy here at the Withlacoochee River House, but if you want to do some exploring everything from tubing to shopping, hiking, golfing or dining, is a quick 20-30 minute drive. The "Nature Coast" offers wildlife preserves, state parks, natural springs but is just under 2 hours from Orlando with all the theme parks you know so well and only 1.5 hours from Tampa International Airport.
