Welcome to Little Deer Isle! This property boasts a large, private, rustic style Maine home, with gorgeous ocean views. This home is family friendly, with lots of space inside and out for families and friends to reconnect and experience what the real Maine woods is like, with the bonus of having the coast right out the back door.
Only 10 minutes to Deer Isle and about an hour and 10 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. You and your guests will have a private beach, access to swimming, kayaking, and beach combing. Explore the local area and visit the Discovery Wharf to learn about local fisheries and the Gulf of Maine marine ecosystem. Alternatively, take a hike up Pine Hill and enjoy wonderful views of the Reach, surrounding mainland, and outer islands. Scott's Landing is conveniently located nearby to explore trails and the shorefront. Pack a picnic and watch sailboats pass under the iconic Deer Isle bridge. With a bustling island and mainland at your disposal, you are guaranteed to make memories at the Sailing Views property.
