Positive: The house is beautifully located, overlooking the valley. It is quiet and serene, with two outside terraces. The outer terrace has the afternoon sun (Western orientation) which is great for a nice drink to enjoy the views. The place is a lot bigger than it seemed on the photos, and has all the equipment one would need. Beds were comfortable, no barking dogs nearby. A real feeling of privacy, and to top it all off, a very friendly neighbour who came to bring us a bag of oranges, lemons and avocados from his own garden!
Negative: None of these things really made a dent in our overwhelmingly positive experience. However, for the sake of informing other people visiting the place, listing a few of the things that could have been better. Firstly, the house was kind of cold, but there was an electric heater that we could use. Secondly, the hot water pressure (shower) isn't great, but you just about can manage. Furthermore, just 2 of the beds were made (I'm guessing because we reserved for 2 people) which meant we didn't have a choice about which bedroom(s) to use. Finally, we had an unfortunate issue with the sewage being blocked (on a Sunday). The host was quick to react and managed to get a technician to fix it on Monday morning.
