Rose Cottage is a charming mid-terrace holiday cottage located in the Suffolk village of Kettleburgh, only 5 minutes drive from Framlingham (made famous by Ed's Castle on the Hill).
Explore the Suffolk Countryside on foot or by bicycle, with lots of footpaths and country lanes on the doorstep.
Only 25 minutes from Suffolk's heritage coast, groups of up to four and a dog can enjoy nourishing and rejuvenating days out with the warmth and cosiness of the wood burner to look forward too.
Ground Floor
Enter Rose Cottage through the partially glazed front door into the open plan living/dining room, which has a door to the stairs on the left and the kitchen is through the dining room to the rear.
Kitchen
Beautifully crafted to make best use of the space, the kitchen is stylishly designed with practicality in mind. Appliances include a fabulous Range Master cooker with 5 ring gas hob, double electric oven and warming drawer. There is a full size dishwasher, microwave, freestanding fridge freezer and a Nespresso coffee maker. The handsome butlers sink sits in the granite worktop under the window, with views of the pretty cottage garden.
Living/Dining
The living space offers the opportunity to relax, warm your toes by the wood burner and enjoy your favourite series on the smart TV.
The table in the dining area sits 4 comfortably and there are 2 spare chairs available if you decide to host friends for lunch or supper at the cottage.
There is a door from the living room to the carpeted stairs with bespoke iron handrail which lead to the first floor.
First Floor
Upstairs in Rose Cottage is a large bright landing which is the perfect place to do a spot of work if you need to whilst you are away.
Double Bedroom
Positioned upstairs at the rear of the cottage is the double bedroom with cast iron bed frame and Emma mattress.
Bed linen and towels are white hotel quality.
The large window lets the light flood in and there's a black out blind to ensure a good nights sleep. Storage for clothes is in the chest of drawers and there are hangers on a wall mount if you wish to use it.
Twin Bedroom
Another bright bedroom at the front of the property just opposite the top of the stairs. Suitable for adults and children, there are two standard 3' single metal framed beds, both with Emma mattresses.
Bed linen and towels are white hotel quality.
This room features a very attractive ornate fire place, a single pine wardrobe for hanging space and a large chest of drawers.
Shower Room
Newly renovated, this very chicly designed shower room is well proportioned with a large walk in shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Outside
Rose Cottage benefits from a very pretty cottage garden accessed via the back door or through a gate from the garden next door. The garden is fully enclosed with a mixture of hedging and fencing.
Just outside the back door is a patio area with steps leading up to the lawn. Beyond the lawn is a hard seating area with BBQ available in the warmer months for guests to use.

The local village pub is currently being renovated and expect to re-open by Christmas 2021.
There is a lovely village park and playing field and lots of countryside footpaths to explore.
You will need a car to travel from Kettleburgh to neighbouring villages as it's a rural location. Cycling is a very healthy and environmentally option so please do bring your bikes and store them securely in the garden.
Please do not leave dogs unattended in the garden.
The stairs may seem steep but they are the original cottage stairs in keeping with the age of the property.
Parking is on the road at the front of the property. It is not allocated but is usually available.
Parking is on the road outside the cottage, under the living room window. Additional parking is on the grass verge beside the hedge just a few meters down the road.
Rose Cottage welcomes up to two dogs down stairs only and not on the furniture.
