Summary: We were surprised how big this property is. It’s certainly well equipped and comfortable. The private courtyard is a bonus. The high walls mean it isn’t overlooked. There is a good quality BBQ and bikes are provided. The beds are comfortable.The only minus points are that whilst it appears clean, under the beds and the skirting boards plus nooks and crannies are very dusty and require a good clean. In addition ,there is a damp smell which hits you every time you go into the house. It may be that the shower , which has leaked recently, is responsible and we understand that a replacement is soon to be installed It’s possible to park on the small lane to unload/load your car but it’s necessary to park away from the house in the local car park which is 6/7 minutes away but is free. There is a boulangerie and a super U express nearby. The local covered market is open daily for fish and rotisserie chicken etc, with a more extensive open market 3days per week which is very busy. Produce is good but not cheap.
