The decor is both airy and cosy, with wooden ceilings and large windows. The open-plan living space is spacious with traditional furniture including three sofas, a flat-screen TV and a large dining table with benches. There is a smaller dining table in the bay window, where guests can enjoy the views with their meals. Glass doors open onto the private balcony with panoramic mountain views. The apartment is in the centre of the village of Argentière, just a 10-minute walk to Les Grands Montets ski lifts which take visitors up to the high mountain slopes all year round.
The slopes around Argentière are suitable for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. For younger skiers, the Panda Club (3-minute drive) offers ski lessons and other activities.
During the summer months, there are stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding.
The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. The weekly market, where you can find the very best local ingredients, takes place every Sunday morning.
Geneva Airport is a 1 hour, 30 minute drive from the apartment. There are shuttle services between Argentière and Chamonix, either by bus (22 mins) or by train (18 mins), on the Mont Blanc Express from Argentière station (3-minute walk).
