The semi-detached rural house is located in the middle of the countryside of Formentera,in Portosaler Area, near the beach of Cala Sahona. It has a large terrace / garden of 200 meters in an area of ​​over 6000 m, with front and side views direct to the field, where one can enjoy a good meal or enjoy a wonderful dinner by candlelight or the light of sunset. In the vicinity of the house you will found the beach cala Sahona (1.3km) and also San Francisco,s village,the more urban core of Formentera,( just 2km from the property) where we found almost everything needed for our vacation. Summary: Maribel’s property is perfect for a peaceful stay on Formentera. Very well equipped and beautifully clean. She and her husband are both very friendly and helpful. My only criticisms were, that it wasn’t clear that the nearest beach is a 20 minute walk away, and that it was slightly less private than I’d imagined, in that Maribel and her husband both need to walk through the garden to get to their cars. Also, pre-season Cal Saona is not good for swimming owing to massive seaweed build-up. If you’re a walker - I am - the 40 minute walk into San Francesc is rather charming but be prepared!
