Positive: There was plenty of room for us, with 5 couples and three singles. The location was nice and central, and near a cycling area. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace.
Negative: Generally, the house felt old, and poorly equipped, though there is some major equipment (coffee maker, hot water tap, very large pans) practical for large groups that would bring everything else. The house is much more worn out than the pictures show. The kitchen isn't nearly as new anymore and had water damage. The lighting over one of the stoves no longer worked. We had to request a set of new pans as the old ones had flakes of the non-stick-coating coming off. We got them, but you shouldn't have to ask. Other than that: all the knives were dull, the kitchen scale didn't work, other utensils were minimal, and there wasn't even any pepper or salt. The chimney to the fireplace seemed obstructed so we were sitting in smoke. No towels provided, not even hand towels or dishcloths, and in most bathrooms no soap. Deposit and cleaning costs can only be paid in cash, but deposit is not returned in cash upon departure, and returning it took quite long.
