Situated in extensive private grounds, Villa Ionaida is accessed by double gates and a long sweeping drive.
The front door opens into the main sitting room and dining room which both have double doors to the upper sun terrace. The sitting/dining room area is spacious and comfortable with TV and DVD player and a large dining room table and chairs.
The main house has one double and one twin bedroom and family bathroom situated on the lower level. In addition there is a newly refurbished large Studio with its own entrance. It has twin beds, en suite shower room and kitchenette.
There is access to the lower sun terrace from both the main bedroom and the second bedroom, only a few steps away from the pool. From the upper terrace looking out over a verdant valley and forest you can enjoy your meals 'al fresco' and take in the superb views of the White Mountains.
Villa Ionaida has a large completely private swimming pool (9m by just over 5m) with extensive sunbathing patios and uninterrupted and spectacular views towards the White Mountains.
Villa Ionaida is situated in the village of Douliana nr Vamos in North Western Crete.
The local seaside resorts, Almyrida and Kalyves are 15 minutes away by car, however Douliana is popular for walkers and there is a lovely walk to both beaches through the valley.
The beautiful, ancient and picturesque harbour town of Chania (the old capital of Crete) is a 30 minute (approx) drive away.
There are many other small beaches, villages and towns to visit.
