Buck Mountain Cabin is located in the private Buck Mountain Gated Community, just 20 minutes from Kerr Scott Lake and 30 minutes outside Boone, West Jefferson, or North Wilkesboro, where you can catch a race at the newly reopened North Wilkesboro Speedway. Buck Mountain Community offers excellent amenities to guests, including a fishing pond stocked with largemouth bass, multiple species of sunfish, and channel catfish. There are ample hiking opportunities to beautiful waterfalls and picnic areas, a putting green, and summer weekend concerts at the clubhouse. Guests are welcome to hike the ATV trails; however, guests are not allowed to bring ATVs to the community as that is a member-only benefit.
Buck Mountain Cabin is a charming 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin with 2 covered porches. Guests will find the covered porches ideal spots to enjoy the fresh mountain air while gathering with family and friends. Both porches have comfortable seating for morning coffee or reading the latest bestseller. Cook dinner on the gas grill or roast marshmallows at the fire pit. You will find exposed log walls and tongue-and-groove ceilings. The living room furniture is around a gas fireplace and Smart TV, where guests can log in to their streaming accounts. Partake in a friendly game of pool on the lower level, or watch your favorite movie while relaxing after a day of exploring.
This cabin sleeps 10 guests, with a main-level bedroom boasting a log-style queen bed. The spacious loft area sleeps four guests in a queen bed and queen futon. The lower level game room has a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a queen futon. There is a full bathroom located on each level.
