Up a private drive and nestled behind a tiny forest sits the Big Blue House on Lake Huron; the perfect place for large groups or families to have a relaxing and fun retreat. There’s plenty of space for all in our open-concept house which features 6 bedrooms that can sleep a total of 14 people (15 if you include the crib that’s in one of the rooms). With a full kitchen, spacious great room and first floor laundry, this is your home away from home.
Take in the majesty of Lake Huron from the covered patio, covered porch, fire pit, 120 feet of sugar sand private beach front, or simply from the comfort of inside the house. Watch breath-taking sunrises and sunsets during the day and count the stars as the moonlight dances on the lake on the brightest of nights. If the conditions are right, you might also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the northern lights.
Fun and activities are in full supply at the Big Blue House on Lake Huron. In the warmer months, you can cool off in the sandy-bottomed lake that is also great for boating. There’s also beach volleyball, kayaking and paddle-boarding. Sand toys are provided for the kids and the kids at heart. When you’re ready for a change of pace or are staying in the cooler months, take a nice long walk along the beach for some light rock and glass collecting while watching for freighters off in the distance.
