The apartment is named “Ondini” which means “on the High Place” in Zulu. Situated 250 meters above Lake Lugano this is a little piece of Paradise that enjoys beautiful views of Mount San Salvatore at the far end of the lake and Osteno on the other side. Within reach of Lakes Como and Maggorie where there are numerous places of interest and Villas to visit, you cannot resist a visit to Bellagio on Lake Como and enjoy watching the world go by.
You are surrounded by delightful Italian landscapes and villages in the foot hills of the Alps. A lovely airy apartment with a terrace garden which is a real sun trap. There are two sun loungers and two outdoor chairs. With sun blinds that can cover the terrace you can have the best of both the sunshine and shade.
There is access to a private beach/jetty area with chairs and loungers where you can relax, swim and picnic. The "beach" is an area built into the rock face on the side of the lake and access is by steps straight into the water - there is no shelving entry although this is available in Porlezza at the Italian end of the lake.
The two double bedrooms fold away during the day to give a light open space which is cool and comfortable. With a large lounge and dining area, which is heated in the winter with an open fire available, there is plenty of room to relax.
A fully fitted kitchen and bathroom make up the rest of the apartment and, should the need arise, there is a washing machine available. There is a book of instructions relating to all items in the apartment on the table beneath the television and I am usually available by text to assist you if necessary.
The kitchen is now a little tired and is due to be updated in November 2022.
