Please note that small children must be closely supervised as the infinity pool is unfenced in both the hillside and beach villas. none of the bedrooms in the hillside or beach villas are interconnected, please note that room rates are inclusive of complimentary round-trip transfers from krabi airport to the resort. guests are required to provide travel details at the time of booking. the hotel highly recommends guests arrange for the flights to arrive at krabi airport in the morning or early afternoon. it takes approximately 2 hours to arrive at the resort with a car followed by the resort's boat, all of which are exclusively for guests. this service is applicable only on the guests' check-in and check-out dates only, mainland jetty to pimalai: 09:00, 11:00, 12:45, 14:45, 16:15 and 17:30, pimalai to mainland jetty: 06:30, 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00, please note that the availability and timeliness of the boat service are subject to weather and sea conditions. in case of adverse weather or sea conditions, the resort will arrange for guests to be transferred to the resort by public ferries and additional ground transportation. the transfer may then take 30 minutes longer, please be informed that due to safety reasons, the boat shuttle service is not available between 18:00 and 06:00. after 18:00, the transfer can be done using public ferries. these ferries normally stop regular service at 22:00. for a later arrival, please kindly contact the resort directly, the same arrival route is used for departures from the resort. however, the resort allocates extra traveling time to ensure that guests arrive at the airport on time, the property also offers a chargeable transfer service (via a minivan and boat) between mainland krabi and the resort. please kindly contact the resort directly for the cost of transportation, please note that the credit card holder's name must be the same as the guest's, and the credit card must be presented to the property upon check-in, our spa will be temporarily relocated, and any room within a 50-yard radius of the work site will not be in operation, our spa will be relocated to the hillside oceanview private pool villa from may 7th to june 30th, 2025, as we are enhancing the current jungle jacuzzi and replacing it with a larger one to improve your future experience, pimalai resort and spa continually strives to be the best resort on koh lanta, and we appreciate your continued support during this renovation, please note that maintenance work of the banyan tree swimming pool will be carried out from may 20th to june 30th, 2025. during this period, the pool will be temporarily closed.

Positive: Staff at Pimalai are very hospitable, friendly, and above all, extremely hard working. They always had a smile on their faces even though I could tell that they were tired. They should all get bonus payments - especially during high seasons.

Negative: There was nothing that we didn't like.
