Rockingham has a Mediterranean style climate - mild winters and hot summers. In winter, between occasional storms, are many days of beautiful sunshine. Summer is beach weather. The temperatures are milder than Perth, and the sea breezes are gentler.
The location just 40 minutes south from Perth is a winner. It diminishes many issues associated with travelling to a holiday destination and going home afterwards or to the airport.
