Summary: It is a very rare thing to say that your apartment had no faults, but this had none. The views from the balcony every day where so different, the views from the back onto the mountains and the Lighthouse were a delight, even when popping to the toilet at 3am lol Parking was locked and secured inside as well so you can quite happily leave your car for ages with no worries. We had everything we needed for our holiday and the most amazing patisserie by the River where we would sit every morning and most afternoons having coffee, buying bread etc. The apartment was a superb base for us to reach the Alps for a night (Being Tour de France fans) We drove up and down Alpe d'Huez and then had a 1 nights base at Col du Lautaret where we drove up Col du Galibier and then back via Gap. You can also reach great places like Millau Viaduct or go to Roquefort for the cheese. Meanwhile back in Palavas you had so, so many choices of food. It was superb, and being an ex Chef the world was not limited, even if you just want a burger and chips.
