Positive: Location was great for exploring the Elan Valley. And the setting on the camp site is lovely.
Negative: The 2x bedroom description was inaccurate resulting in 2 people in our party having no adequate bed or bedding for 2 nights. The bedroom description details one bedroom with 1x double bed and 1x single bed and a second bedroom with 1x bunk bed (double bottom, single top) and 1x single bed. Having called the owner on arrival the host advised of a sofa bed that should be utilised, which wasn't detailed in the bedroom descriptions at all. We wouldn't have booked if we'd know this to be the case. We attempted to make the most of it but the sofa bed didn't fold out flat and didn't have any bedding, and wasn't big enough for 2 children let alone 2 adults. The family sized hammock/netted lounger broke after 2 hours due to the rope having worn away over time, this was reported straight away and no one replied or attended to fix it. The hot tub wasn't filled to the correct level and wasn't checked during our stay either. It was a disappointing stay. We emailed booking.com and the owners to advise on all of the above and asked if a proportionate refund would be available given 2 out of 7 in our party didn't even have a bed or bedding and the lack of the family hammock... the response we got has resulted in us leaving this poor review as they could have met us somewhere in the middle but have since decided to ignore us.
Summary: Frustrating - lovely location BUT incorrect sleeping arrangements advertised. Poor hosts.
