Unit is One bedroom one bath ground floor oceanfront condominium. is literally 20 feet from the waves at Playa Escondida, a secluded and gorgeous complex which boasts pristine tropical gardens, a large pool kept at 82 degrees and a tennis/pickleball court.
The staff is amazing and kind and accomadating
Parking is no problem, spots usually close to the front entrance.
The unit includes a well equipped full kitchen, two brand new large screen TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room and the best ocean views in Mazatlan, right from your living room or private patio.
24/7 on-site management happily advise about transportation, and Mazatlan attractions. Security cameras and a night watchman assure safety. Housekeeping removes trash each day and cleans thoroughly once per week. Daily laundry service is available they will pick up and deliver.
A few bars and restaurants are within walking distance within the Cerritos area, or the popping Golden Zone nightlife is a short 100 peso ($5 USD) pulmonia (open air taxi) ride away. The unit is tastefully decorated to create a spa-like experience. The beach is shared with just one other building and accessed directly from this 40 unit complex. The hosts love to paddle board to a near-by island or boogie board at the same beach they see from their patio. Summary: Biggest complaint was the people were not friendly. Very clicky. They would say hi etc but didn't get to know anyone. We had a few items that we were not overly happy with. The bedroom window only has half a curtain, therefore, we felt uncomfortable changing in the bedroom and it was very light. When we talked to management, they had maintenance put cardboard in the window only to be told later it was against policy and it had to be taken down. Had trouble sleeping because it was too bright. Living room furniture is not comfortable. The floor felt greasy, not overly clean. Could not get the oven to start. No hairdryer. The inside door lock was really hard to unlock from outside.
