You will have a magnificent view of the sunsets with the activities of the bay in the foreground; kite-boarders, small sailboats, water skiers, catamarans, etc. Yet, you are only 12 minutes from San Diego's bustling downtown historic Gaslamp area and Little Italy, both with their fine dining establishments, 1.5 miles from SeaWorld and within 15 minutes from the lovely Balboa Park with the famous San Diego Zoo and its fabulous collection of museums and botanical gardens.
It's just a 10 minute stroll around the bay over to Pacific and Mission Beaches with their wide boardwalks to watch the surfers, play in the waves or catch a sunset. On a cloudless evening you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive green flash just at the exact moment the sun sinks into the ocean.
