Welcome to Lake Escape! This charming, brand new custom built home offers a peaceful getaway nestled among the trees on a wooded lot with a view of Center Hill Lake with lake access and launch 1.6 miles from the home. This craftsman style bungalow is the perfect place to get away and escape from it all. It boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and lots of space to relax and unwind. The screened-in back porch overlooks the lake and is quite the hang out with a fireplace and TV. There is a hot tub on the back deck with spectacular views of the lake, woods and sunset. This home has 3 bedrooms on the main floor and 1 bedroom upstairs off the bonus room. The primary bedroom has a king bed and window seat overlooking the woods and lake. The en suite spa bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower and separate soaking tub and double vanity. The room has a 55 inch smart TV. The second bedroom holds a king bed while the third bedroom holds a queen bed. They share a full bathroom with custom walk in tiled shower and double vanity. All linens, including duvets covers, are washed after each guest stay.
The kitchen has spared no detail and is fully stocked with all you will need to prepare a light meal or gourmet dinner. We have beautiful granite counter tops and double apron sink. There is a gas cooktop, 2 ovens, microwave, dishwasher and separate ice machine. We have provided an air fryer for your convenience. Wake up to the beautiful views and find your way to our combo Keurig/ coffee pot to help jump start your morning. There is seating for 4 at the bar in the kitchen. The dining area has a large table with seating for 9.
There is a screened in porch off the kitchen that is perfect for all seasons. It has a stone fireplace for family and friends to gather around while enjoying the wooded lake view. There is a 55 inch smart TV over the fireplace so you can enjoy a movie or catch up on your favorite show. The back porch also has a table and chairs with seating for 4 as well as a patio couch, lounge chair and coffee table. There is a covered deck off the screened in porch that has a hot tub, gas grill and more lounging chairs. The hot tub is drained and refilled after each guest stay. There is a fire pit out back should you choose to enjoy some time in nature. (Fire wood can be purchased at most local convenience stores.)
Come back inside and curl up and enjoy family time, read a book, play a game or watch TV in front of the fireplace in the living room. There is a cocktail corner that hosts a wet bar and wine and beverage fridge.
Take the stairs up to the bonus room to enjoy another space to gather or watch TV. There are games, toys and a reading nook for kids. There is a desk and chair available for those times you need to do some work or take a quick call. The 4th bedroom is off the bonus room upstairs and is made private by barn doors. It holds 2 full beds and a triple window with a wooded view. There is a 3rd full bath upstairs with a tiled tub/shower and single vanity.
Walk back downstairs and step out onto the front porch and enjoy some quiet time in our rockers. The nearby level, gravel driveway has room for several cars and includes space for boat parking.
Johnson’s Chapel public boat launch for water recreation is 1.6 miles down the way and has a courtesy dock and trailer parking for guests to use. There is also lawn space to picnic and a beach area for all to enjoy.

Cookville Marina is short drive by boat from Johnson’s Chapel where you can get ice, gas, or rent a pontoon. There are a number of state parks and waterfalls that are a short drive away.
