Positive: Beautiful and spacious apartment! Close to an authentic part of Naples, with a market literally right outside the door. The host is very kind—she allowed us to leave our luggage at the property before check-in so we could head into the city without any hassle. We were extremely satisfied with this and highly recommend it!
Negative: What the host cannot control is the nighttime noise from the street. Italians here definitely don’t show much consideration for people trying to sleep in nearby buildings, and they seem to have never heard of quiet hours. Night after night, there is honking (not the usual kind, but more like trying to call someone down from the street), shouting, laughter, very loud conversations among large groups of people, breaking bottles, etc. If you’re not used to nighttime noise or you’re a light sleeper, I recommend buying some wine in the wine shop about 30 meters from the building entrance for the evening.
