The Space:
You and your group will love staying here in this gorgeous family-and-pet-friendly, 6-bedroom home located just blocks from the Historic Center of town. The house is full of traditional details from the region and very original spaces. Access to the home is through an electronic lock, and there’s 24/7 surveillance ensuring the tranquility of your stay. The owner of the home has a Mezcalera, and we can arrange a Mezcal and beer tasting at the home, a real Mexican treat.
One of the highlights of the home is the rooftop terrace, where you have seating/dining with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. This is a great space to spend quality time with your loved ones between outings in and around town.
For relaxing downtime at home, gather in the sitting room that features comfortable seating and a large Smart TV that can connect to your streaming accounts. Surrounding the sitting area is an L-shaped bar that is perfect for enjoying meals or working on your laptop while still being able to watch TV and hang out with your group.
For mealtime, there’s nothing more convenient than having a fully-equipped kitchen that includes a coffee maker for your morning kick-start and a blender for those afternoon mixers. To enjoy your homemade creations with good conversation, there are indoor and outdoor dining tables complete with quality dishware and glassware.

A leisurely 10-minute stroll will take you to the city center. Should you prefer leaving your vehicle behind, convenient options like UBER or DIDI are readily available. If you seek suggestions for exploring the city, don't hesitate to inquire! Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, a scenic walk, or entertainment, we have insider recommendations to help you experience Oaxaca like a true local.
Getting Around:
The nearest international airport is the Oaxaca International Airport, and it’s about 7.4 km away. There’s parking space for 3 vehicles at the property if you’re arriving by car.
Other Things to Note:
Guests will need to climb stairs.
There are security cameras on the exterior of the property.
There is no daily housekeeping, however, if you’d like to have the home cleaned during your stay, you can add this for an extra fee. Let us know if you require a mid-stay cleaning prior to your arrival or at least 48 hours in advance.
Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation and/or upon arrival.
There is a drought in the region, which means the area experiences water shortages where at times, you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. We ask that you please use water consciously, turn it off when it's absolutely not needed, and recycle your shower water for times when needed to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom).
If you have to turn on the water pump, do not let it run for more than 15 minutes or the cistern might empty.

WE KINDLY ASK ALL GUESTS TO ABIDE BY THESE HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 20 years of age or older to book.
- Smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, etc.) or using any recreational drugs at the property is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties/events are allowed, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise will not be tolerated. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8:30 am. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of check-in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- A maximum of one dog of small to medium size is permitted. Prior approval from the property manager is required. Extra fees may be incurred for excessive pet hair, and pets are prohibited from using furniture.
