Welcome to our Basalt Estate. We live on a secluded road in the seven castles community and you will be in complete Colorado wilderness and privacy. Please have 4 wheel drive. One of our favorite amenities about our property is that we have a private hiking trail right in our backyard that is a 4 mile round trip hike to waterfalls. Aspen and Snowmass skiing is about 30-45 minutes away. Downtown Basalt where you can find restaurants, gas and coffee shops is a 12 minute drive down the frying pan.

Summary: We enjoyed another 3 weeks this summer. Again this is one of the best rentals and landlords I have had the pleasure to enjoy. As an example of what makes it different from all the others: every year the outdoor grill is clean! I love the well equipped kitchen and pantry w a reasonable amount of carryover necessities from host and prior guests. Great distance from the hustle. This year we enjoyed a few trips up to the reservoir day park about 25 minutes upstream. Plus the farmers market and Basalt restaurants and dog friendly locale make everything wonderful. Thanks again Tessa and Matt!! Lil
