Also , you have to have reliable car to get here. This is mountain area. Winter tires are mandatory as well as carrying chains from October to April.

Those who are looking for solitude you can hike surrounding mountains, bike and go for water activities at local lakes (Harrison Hot Springs) approximately 43km away 45 min drive. Great area for kayaking, boating, fishing and other sports. There is local 18 hole Sandpiper Golf Club nearby at the entrance to the Valley (21km).
After your activities you can enjoy swimming pool and relax in the sun.
Please be advised to bring your own food and supplies as there is no grocery store on the mountain. In the summer time , bring bug spray.
