The spacious bathroom is a sanctuary with a deep soaking bath, a separate shower, and a handcrafted Coachwood vanity made from timber sourced on the property. The heart of the home is an expansive open-plan living space with a cozy fireplace. The stunning kitchen, also crafted from locally harvested Coachwood, is a chef's dream. An expansive timber deck extends the living space outdoors, complete with a plush daybed for ultimate relaxation.
Building History
This captivating cottage is one of only six original timber worker houses lovingly restored in the historic Old Saw Mill Town of Brooman. Dating back to the 1920s, the Mill House first served as the town's dance hall, echoing with music and laughter. It later became cozy lodgings for bachelors working in the local mill. Today, it stands as a testament to the town's ingenuity and resilience, with many of its features, like the deck and vanity, built with local and recycled materials.
