Positive: The flat is a three piece apartment located on TWO floors (something that should be clearly stated in the booking.com description). In between, there is quite a narrow, steep staircase thus, elderly or slightly disabled people must take it into account. The ground floor accomodates a well equipped kitchen (incl. a sofa that is easy to turn into a fully fledged double bed) and a small toilette. The "famous" no-curtain bathroom is located on the second floor. So are the two sleeping rooms (let it be noted: they are in an enfilade!), each accomodating a double bed. The rooms are small but cosy and enough to spend a comfortable night in. In general , the flat is equipped with all that you might need during your stay (no kitchenware, kettle or similar to be dragged along, even a modern iron is available). The apartment is far away from the city centre (of Paris, of course). Nonetheless, the connection is really good and relativelty effortless. There are several buses from the junction nearby going to Vincennes (RER or Chateau), the best one seems no 124 (the bus stop some 100 meters away from the flat). In some 5-10 minutes you are in Vincennes: either close to (some 200 meters) the RER station (the fastest option to go to central Paris) or (if you go to the last stop) at the Chateau bus station where the metro line 1 starts as well as two buses: one of them going to Gare de l'Est, the other one also to somewhere in Paris downtown. Thus, if you thake the bus +RER option, you are able to be in Paris downtown in no more than half an hour. Close to the apartment (within several minutes walk), there are also several alimentary shops (Monoprix, Franprix, others) thus, no problems in buying food and drink.
Negative: Several shortcomings could be listed: - the kitchen table rickety and making impression of being likely to fall apart any minute you use it - the coffee machine works in its own (unknown) manner (at least 50% of the coffee capsules got damaged and landed in the dustbin...) - maybe I overlooked them, but there seemed to be no kitchen thrash bags available (a little troublesome if you stay for a few days or more) - The peepshow type of the bathroom. Indeed, it feels peculiar when taking a bath after the sunset when you are naked in a brightly lit shower cabin just one meter away from a bare window, even though there are no windows facing the bathroom directly from the opposite side of the street.
