Positive: Location is just next to the metro and is very busy outside so definitely I felt safe all the times. The room was "OK" cleaned. WhatsApp support was available throughout the stay, They let me leave my luggage in the property before checking-in.
Negative: My reservation ended up to be an overbooking, so I did not get the room I payed for! Namely I did not get the room with the ensuite bathroom. The property did inform me about overbooking but tried to force me to cancel the booking on my side (which I was not happy about). I then contacted Booking, Booking confirmed to me that the property was able to solve the issue and accommodate me in the room I payed for, Unfortunately this did not happen and I only found out when I arrived at the property. My only choice was to accept the room without ensuite toilet. Cons: - I had to share a toilet that run out of toilet paper and was not cleaned for at least 2 days straight (so there was no "everyday cleaning" as advertised by the property) - The room had a strong smell of smoke (like it was coming from the A/C) even though property was "non-smoking". - No TV in the room I stayed - Balcony does not have "Stunning City Views" nor "Burj al Arab views" (because this apartment is in 3rd floor, I believe description is copy paste from apartments in upper floor). Balcony floor was quite dirty. - There was a constant air current (cold breeze) into the bed even at night that I could not switch off (I think it was not even the air conditioning) - Noise from the outside (busy road) could be heard due to the weak windows. - There was no Dining Table - WiFi connection was on and off for at least 2 days After the stay, I did complain to Booking, but the only thing I got was a 14% refund only available as a reward for a next stay. I payed so much more to have a room with an ensuite bathroom but in the end I did not have it. What a joke. I did not feel compensated at all and I will complain to Booking upper Management Team.
Summary: Overbooking gone kinda wrong - did not get the room I payed for!
