Our handcrafted log home is built with massive red pine logs hand carved and scribed into a work of art. When you drive in and see it you just know you are going to have the best vacation ever!!!
Its custom kitchen makes all your favorite meals. A fine huge rustic bar to watch your meals being made or to advise while the cooking is creating!!!! A dining room with windows for the forest and lake. Coffee in rocking chairs in the morning and 3 decks for wine at nite. A magnificent fireplace in the living room for relaxing on a cool nite. Sleeping in log beds at nite and listening to the loons sing you to sleep (some are pretty loud!!!) A log bar to serve your favorite drinks.
Up the log stairs to another living room with a huge tree holding the logs, and office (if you need to do a little work--hope not though should be vacationing and relaxing!) A master bedroom with log furniture and master bath all custom built. So much more you will just have to see for yourself!
Big Tunk is one of the cleanest lakes in the State of Maine swimming is wonderful and relaxing. Admiral Byrd summered here in his large log lodge Wickup wrote the book "Alone"on his dock!
