Here you will experience your first glimpse of the views that make Tawny Nook so unique. So, coats and shoes off and welcome to our remarkable home!
Snug:- A room with a danish & traditional twist, with a lovely Bo-Concept corner sofa to rest up, socialise and enjoy a newly laid fire or perhaps just engage with the hustle and bustle of preparations in the kitchen beyond. With both northerly and southerly aspect this room is a central space in the house with smart TV and games.
Kitchen / Dining:- The central modern table, with benches and comfy table end chairs is the place for many a feast and gathering. Directly linked to the ground floor terrace with bi-fold glass doors, it offers an inside/ outside experience, no matter what the weather. The kitchen is fully equipped with Bosch appliances - hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge & freezer as well as the Nespresso machine with some complimentary pods.
Ground floor terrace:- With glass balustrades one feels one has stepped onto a panoramic viewing platform, where comfy loungers await and an electronic awning can be drawn overhead should the often sunny days be too much. This relaxing, social space is directly linked to the whole ground floor when the bi-folds are open, offering a large open plan setting for all our guests.

Grotto King suite (sleeps 2):- This totally private panoramic cliff face basement bedroom, often bathed in sunshine through glass bi-folds, leads onto a private balcony overlooking the river. It is a place to enjoy the view from sunrise to sunset. You can set your mood from the selection of vinyls for the record player or bring your own. Enjoy a cosy sofa, wood-burner, Smart TV & Sonos sound. There is a bar-top dining area for two & a fully equipped kitchenette with Nespresso, kettle, toaster, hob, fridge freezer, microwave & air fryer. A walk-in shower room with WC & basin provides your ensuite. There is a separate independent external entrance leading onto the street or back up onto the family terrace, as well as the internal access to the ground floor. The underfloor heating throughout & log burner ensures every moment of your stay is cosy and warm no matter how frosty it is outside, in this uniquely relaxing space.

Facing south the sun pours into the room offering ample light for reading, listening to vinyls on the record player, with the Sonos speaker, playing board & card games, or just enjoying company. The inset wood-burner sets a wonderful winter warmth and the voile & curtains offer different levels of cosiness to this space.
Double bedroom (sleeps 2):- This is a peaceful private space where the morning light fills the room. Complete with reading lights, a full length mirror to get ready and storage for your things.
