Summary: Overall, this was a disappointing stay. We left after 1 night of our booked 2 night stay and while the host was communicative and did fulfill our request for a partial refund, I could not in good conscience recommend this property until some serious kinks are worked out. The main issue with the property was the overall cleanliness. Everything on the surface looked clean but as soon as we walked through the door we were overwhelmed by an overpowering artificial smell of air fresheners. The floors were sticky, and when we wiped them down with a rag they were entirely filthy and covered with dirt and grime. Carpets were also stained in spots and looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly in a while. Outside of the cleanliness of the property, there were also just a few minor things that were not deal breakers but irritating. There were no wifi instructions in the home so we had to write to the host to get that information, and it took 3 hours for them to get back to us so we were without access to wifi. There were also no towels anywhere downstairs either in the half bath or in the kitchen, so after washing hands you had to go upstairs and hunt around for towels. The house itself is also strangely laid out, the second bedroom has a very sloped ceiling so just to get to the other side of the room you have to duck. Access is also through the primary bedroom bathroom/closet which is just odd. Again the host was kind and did offer a partial refund.
