Positive: This is a good-sized studio apartment that is attractively decorated and well-equipped. It was very helpful to have a washing machine and a detergent capsule so I could do a load of laundry. There were even some clothespins :). One kitchen item I was missing was quickly supplied. The heater/air conditioner works well and was very welcome since I was there in the spring when the weather was still cool. The communication with the conciergerie was fast and friendly. The apartment was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed my time there. It was also easy to reach the main attractions and stores in Amboise from that location.

Negative: The original code provided did not allow me to open the lockbox to retrieve the key. Fortunately, the conciergerie was immediately reachable, but it would be better to supply the correct code before arrival. Also, as is visible in the photos, the apartment has only one window, which is also a door to the terrace. However, the terrace is not very appealing. It would be nice to put out a few plants and perhaps a chair or two and a small table. This would make it more inviting to sit outside and also provide a nicer view from the window.
