Summary: Unfortunately the lake house ended up double booked. I had called the resort after booking on vrbo with this exact concern because it was still listed as available on the resort website. I was told it takes them up to 24 hours to get the reservation from vrbo but shouldn't be a problem. 2 days later I got a message from the manager of the resort that the lake house was no longer available for our dates after we already booked and paid for it on vrbo. They offered us a full refund or to rent us a larger house on the property for the same price. We didn't really need the larger house and were disappointed that we would not get the lake views and a couple of the amenities the lake house offered verses the larger house. When speaking with the resort they were very friendly and tried thier best to accommodate us and try to make it right. We ended up accepting the new accommodations and other then the TV not working ( they did send a maintenance man to try to fix but was unable) we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful and clean resort, lots of activities on site, and very friendly staff.
