Mismaloya is located just 5 miles south of Puerto Vallarta's Old Town. Stunning view of the ocean, mountains, Los Arcos and the village of Mismaloya. Newly remodeled kitchen - 5 burner gas range and oven, granite countertops, full size refrigerator, marble floors, dining room and living room seat 6. Quiet space with stunning views and large balcony overlooking the ocean. One bedroom and 2 full bathrooms. From your balcony you can see the site of the movie 'Night of the Iguana.' Nearby in the jungle - see the new Puerto Vallarta zoo and Chico's Paradise, swim in the river where the movie 'Predator' was filmed. Lovely grounds, onsite laundromat, gym, tennis, and restaurant by the pool. Loads of activities including the nearby Botanical Gardens, and Boca de Tomatlan, where you can take a water taxi to the village of Yelapa where you can walk to the waterfall.

Summary: La Jolla is a small condo complex sitting up above beach level. There are stairs that lead to the small, quaint beach where you can have food, massages, rent kayaks/paddle boards, or hire out a boat excursion. We love it here. The one restaurant on property is excellent but isn't open year round. You might have to navigate a couple flights of stairs depending on condo but they were working on extending the elevator when we were there last.
