Thanks to the shelter from the Tramontana winds offered by Mount Saccarello, to the shelter of many perturbations that collide on Mount Faudo to the north west of the village, and to the action of the nearby Ligurian Sea, Costarainera enjoys a particularly healthy and sunny microclimate that make it ideal destination for those looking for the perennial sun of the Riviera dei Fiori and the wholesomeness of a unique climate. Sanremo can be reached in just 20 minutes and in just over half an hour you can reach Alassio and Diano Marina, but also in the renowned resorts of the French Riviera.
