## The neighborhood
Located at the entrance of the village of La Grave la Meije (arriving by the Lautaret pass) your accommodation faces the Meije and its impressive glaciers
Renowned for winter freeride, off-piste skiing and summer for its ice cave and its altitude restaurant at 3200 m by which we arrive from the Grave or intermediate station of 2400 m with the cable car of the Glaciers de la Meije .
In addition to hiking you can also fish in the Romanche which flows not far from the chalet, play tennis, bike, rafting, climbing, via ferrata, go for a night in a refuge, observe the stars at the Astroguindaine , in the Lautaret pass, visit the Ecrins National Park Office, the magnificent Alpine Garden and continue with the mythical Col du Galibier.
The pool to which you have access, is located 5 mn of your home (a small path through pines leads you there) and is on the banks of the Romanche river.

If you arrive by the Lautaret Pass remember to inquire about its Winter status by calling the Tourist Office or http://inforoute.hautes-alpes.fr
The chalet in which the studio is located is at the entrance of the village, on your left in front of the hotel Le Sérac.
