With its rare “folded plate” zig-zag roofline, Juanita features one of Palm Springs’ most iconic mid-century modern architectural designs. Plenty of sliding glass doors, and solid and breeze block walls further add to the home’s mid-century details. Located on a quiet Sunmor Estates street, Juanita shares company with a block full of incredible mid-century homes.
Through the double door entry, the spacious living room features an original rock wall fireplace flanked by windows out to the pool, plenty of comfortable seating and a smart TV with cable. Connected to the living room is a small den with a desk and slider out to the covered patio. This is a great space to “work from home.”
The large kitchen features European cabinetry that includes a built-in wine fridge and expanses of quartz countertops. There is plenty of counter space for everyone to get involved to prepare and serve any type of meal. Facing the living room is a bar counter for setting up continental breakfast or serving cocktails to the crew.
Nearby the dining room has seating for six and another slider opening out to the front gardens.
The private and fenced backyard starts with a large, covered patio with outdoor dining, plenty of chaise lounges and a hammock for relaxing. The large pool has a raised spa with waterfall. For cooking there’s a gas grill and for cool desert evenings there is a fire pit with comfortable seating. There’s even an architecturally interesting outdoor shower!
The large primary bedroom has a king bed, smart TV, blue ray player, large closets and has a slider with access to the covered patio. It’s en-suite has a step-in shower. There are two guest bedrooms. The first has a queen bed and the other has two full beds. Each bedroom has a smart TV and they share the hall guest bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
The home has cool porcelain tile flooring throughout making it perfect for families and their four-legged friends. You’ll also find board games, books, and cards for leisurely nights with friends and family.
With a great central Palm Springs location, Juanita is just a short drive to stores, restaurants, downtown Palm Springs, and the Uptown Design District.

RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE:
**Pool and spa heat are optional for $30-$80 per day. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book.
**Minimum age for every guest is 25 unless accompanied by a parent. No groups larger than 6 (regardless of age) and no parties.
**Palm Springs has strict noise, occupancy, and parking rules, INCLUDING THAT NO MUSIC IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE AT ANY TIME. Violation of these rules will result in a $1000 fine and immediate eviction from the house with no refund.
**This house requires both a $750 refundable damage deposit and the purchase of additional damage insurance for $59. These fees are not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book.
**On rentals of 28-nights or more renter is responsible for the entire gas and electric bill from check-in to check-out based on meter reads. A $3500 utility deposit will be collected after booking and will be applied to these bills. Any remaining balance will be refunded to you, however you are responsible for any overages.
**The City of Palm Springs requires an additional written contract which you must sign after you book and requires that you send us a copy of your ID before you check in.
**This house is dog-friendly (2 max) with prior approval and payment of an additional pet fee. No other animals allowed.
