Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Overall good value for the money. Great location, able to walk to everything. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was remodeled. The creek behind the room was a pleasant surprise to hear the rushing water. While I will note cons i do think overall it was what I expected for the price. If I paid more per night I would have been disappointed

Negative: As soon as we walked in the room smelled like cigarette smoke despite the property being non smoking. I opened all the windows to give it fresh air and that helped alot. We kept the windows open the entire stay. Room was next to laundry room so heard washer and dryer being used early. (Not sure if smoking stale room could be due to old motel or employees smoking) there was a leak coming from the laundry room. The breakfast was basically all carbs and nothing diabetic friendly. The bed was uncomfortable and room tight. The neighbors upstairs were so heavy footed that even playing white noise didnt drown them out sleeping.

Summary: Good deal for the money not a 4 star reaort
