Summary: The first room we checked in had an awful smell of strong cigarette smoke upon entering. I couldn’t bear the smell and changed to the upper floor same room. The smoke smell was much less but still lingering which was disappointing. The rooms have an ashtray even though I booked a nonsmoking room. The receptionist was apologetic. I’d rather stay in l downtown Athens but chose this hotel only for the parking and the highway nearby to the airport. I relied on the positive reviews and I regret it.
