The Space:
The Dovery is a newly renovated property which has character and charm in abundance. Located within the grounds of Ingmire Hall, you are treated to a grand welcome and extensive shared grounds.
The spacious living room is ideal for enjoying relaxing evenings with your loved ones after a full day of exploring the great outdoors. There are two stylish sofas, a reading nook with two chairs and two deep blue chairs, as well as a TV featuring Freeview channels for entertainment.
The well-equipped kitchen diner is a great size. With traditional features, a stone floor and direct access to the gardens, this space is homely and welcoming. Boasting an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, cookware, washing machine and dryer, you'll have everything you could need to make the most of your self-catering stay. There is also the added luxury of a dishwasher!
There are two bedrooms situated on the first floor. The master has a double bed bedroom with an ensuite and the second bedroom features two single beds. There is also a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub on the first floor.
Take the stairs up to the second floor and you'll find a twin bedroom and a bathroom with a shower.
Each bed is dressed in luxury bedding and crisp white linens, the perfect combination to aid a good nights’ sleep.
Outside the property, you’ll find a dining area with seating for six people or more. The extensive grounds of the property are there to be enjoyed by all guests. There are vast grassed areas for the children to roam free, with plenty of hidden walkways and with secret gardens and a hidden grotto to explore, as well as a coy pond and a tennis court.
The Dovery has free parking with reserved spaces for three cars.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys for The Dovery are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is private, on-site parking for up to three cars.
Stag & hen parties are strictly prohibited at The Dovery.

Getting Around:
Sedbergh can easily be reached by car, bus, train, or bicycle.
Sedbergh is only five miles from Junction 37 of the M6 and ten miles from the West Coast Main Line station at Oxenholme. The West Coast Mainline runs from London to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
You can also hop on one of the local bus services between Kendal and Sedbergh from Oxenholme.
A weekend bus service connects with selected trains on the scenic Settle to Carlisle Railway at Dent Station. This famous route winds its scenic way through the Yorkshire Dales and Eden Valley so you can soak up the stunning views as you travel.
