Enjoy the charm of this cave dwelling in traditional Canarian style. The main feature of these buildings, carved into the rock by hand, is their ideal temperature, both in winter and summer. The Canarian caves offer protection from the cold in winter and a cool, pleasant place to shelter from the heat in summer. Around a large courtyard, where there is a dining area and a sunbed where you can rest in the shade and take a nap or read, there are 4 bedrooms carved into the rocks. These caves have the characteristic white colour and offer very comfortable resting areas inside. Two of them are attached to each other and have a sitting area in the front part. There is also a kitchen and a bathroom built in brick. The accommodation has a barbecue area and a large terrace with a removable pool, from which there are incredible views over the whole Tamadaba area. Right in front of the pool you can enjoy the view of the archaeological findings of Risco Caido. The holiday home has a walk-on roof, a patio, a barbecue area, the terrace with the set-up pool and access to the accommodation via a footpath with flat and stairway sections. During your stay we always have an open ear for our guests, who can ask us any questions they may have and are happy to receive from us instructions for housekeeping and tips on services, shops, excursions, visits and places of interest. If you would like to experience a stay in a real Canarian cave in the middle of a natural environment, to learn how the inhabitants of Gran Canaria used to live here, then this is the ideal accommodation for you. Our guests have the option of turning off the Wifi with a simple button. The cave holiday home Cueva Regina can also be easily found on Google Maps. You can reach the accommodation by car from anywhere on the island, from the airport, from Puerto de la Luz and from Las Palmas or from Agaete harbour. Once you arrive at your destination, you will need to park and, as explained before, walk for the last 3 minutes or so on a footpath to the accommodation. Cueva Regina is located in a natural environment of great beauty.
