On the southern cape of Messinia, a medieval castle juts picturesquely into the sea like a pointed triangle, with the narrow alleyways and pretty little houses of Koroni nestling against it. The idyllically situated Livadakia is located on hills above the extensive Memi sandy beach, approx. 5 km south-west of Koroni, in a quiet neighbourhood. On a flat, natural plot, the location of this house offers unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside, the sea and Messenian Bay as far as the Peloponnese coast opposite. The detached house with two flats, one above the other, is surrounded by olive groves and Mediterranean plants. The comfortably furnished holiday flat Kallista Livadakia is located on the upper floor of the two-storey house. The ground floor flat with separate entrance is occupied by the German landlord and landlady.
The rear entrance via an external staircase leads through the kitchen into the spacious, bright and tastefully furnished living/dining room of the holiday flat. The kitchen with adjoining dining room area offers plenty of space for cooking and eating together. Adjacent to the dining room with a double-sided fireplace is the living room with a sofa for 2 people. The fireplace brings pleasant warmth and cosiness into the large living room on some cool days and also serves as a room divider. The screen creates a little more privacy for guests sleeping in the living room. A small hallway leads to the bedroom, with wonderful views of the surrounding hills, and the bathroom. The living/dining room leads onto the wrap-around, covered terrace with beautiful views of the sea. In the separate laundry room right by the outside staircase is the washing machine for guests' private use.
The nearby picturesque town of Koroni, with its lovely harbour, tavernas and cafés, offers a nice change from the peaceful surroundings of the Kallista Livadakia holiday flat.
