Vamos is one of the most attractive destinations in North-West Crete, on the foothills of the White Mountains, 300 meters above the sea level surrounded by wild nature as well as cultivated fields. It is only 25km away of the Venetian town of Chania.

A preserved traditional road gives you the opportunity of a nice walk around the old neighbourhoods of the village, combined with the amazing views of the White Mountains and the surrounding wild nature. Part of the spectacular sightseeings are the famous chapel of Virgin Mary, a 13th Century monument, and the Karidi Monastery with the 12 Arches.
A few sandy beaches are minutes away from Vamos. The major ones are: Kalyves 6km , Almyrida beach 8km, Georgioupoli 10km, Kyani Akti 7km, Ombrosgialos 8km. Some of the ‘’must see’’ beaches are also nearby, such as Balos and Falassarna west of Chania and Elafonisi South of Chania, facing the Libyan sea. The last three places are in the top ten best beaches in the world. Also, there are some amazing beaches in North of Chania, such us Frafokastello and Sfakia.

Villa is a 60 square meters villa with two levels. There is a large living room on the first level, with two comfortable sofe-beds, with a T-V, a fully equipped open plan kitchen (with microwave oven, a cooker, a coffee machine and a refrigerator with a freezer) and a bathroom with a shower.
The stairs lead to the second level, which features a bedroom with two single beds, an A/C, a safe box and a bathroom with a shower and hair dryer.
There is also a private furnished balcony offering amazing views of the beautiful nature of Apokoronas and the White Mountains.
Villa can accommodate 4-6 people.

Regular coaches to Chania and the local beaches but a car would be much more convenient for your own pleasure since Crete is such a big and beautiful island, with amazing mountain views you have to don't miss out this change car is best idea.
As you leave from Chania airport you follow the signs for the motorway towards Rethymno. On the way to Rethymnon take the exit for Kalyves. Once you are in Kalyves follow the signs towards Vamos. It's only another 6km around ten minutes drive . Once you reach Vamos you continue on the high street , you drive through the shops and restaurants and at the end of the road right after the Vamos Highschool you take a left and it's a dead end. You have then reached your destination
