Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was excellent for exploring the fairy chimneys and the castle, within walking distance of the hotel. We weren’t able to see the balloons while we were as they weren’t able to fly due to the wind but I would imagine that the view from the rooftop terrace would be amazing. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Negative: The rooftop terrace was in a bad state of repair and nothing like what the pictures portray. There was a sign saying don’t go too near the edge, which was very advisable due to the condition. Felt that the overall condition of the hotel needed some renovation as it all seemed a bit tired.

Summary: Enjoyable stay, within walking distance of fairy chimneys and the fairy museum.
