Summary: We had a very warm welcome from Josefa and we had a bottle of wine with snacks waiting for us upon arrival. The property was clean and toiletries were available for our use. However I feel there is room for improvements; We were a party of six and we found that the shower ran cold after two people had used it and we had to wait a while for the water to heat up again. The shower power was also weak . The internet connection was not strong and when working, could only be accessed in the living room/ dining area. The hot tub was cold and the water didn't heat up so we hardly used it. The TV needs to be moved to the living room from one of the bedrooms as it was an inconvenience when everyone wanted to sit down together and watch something on the television in the evening. On the positive, the property has very amazing views and in a very nice, quiet location. Local amenities on the high street was not far from the property, about 10 minutes walk away. The local Chinese restaurant had high quality food, a wide variety of meals to choose from and the portions were big! There are two supermarkets that you can shop from and restaurants as well as a sumptuous pastry shop/ bakery. I enjoyed the local scenery by taking long walks in the evenings to take in the breathtaking views and the locals were friendly. There is a farmers' market on Saturdays and Sundays . On Sundays, you can hear a live band playing lively Spanish music at the market. You will need a car to get about and the property comes with an electronically operated garage. Maspalomas is nearly an hour's drive and Las Palma's about half an hour away. Journey from and to the airport is about half an hour with cab fare under 40 Euros each way. The property owner, was very nice, warm and hospitable. She dealt with requests promptly. If you want a quiet and tranquil place to chill and relax l, I would strongly recommend Happy House. I would go back again with my family. It was definitely good value for money!
