1 Bedroom Apartment with Laundry, Balcony and Bedding

Set on a lush green hill above magical Kaneohe Bay, this apartment offers a serene getaway and is within 10 minutes of Kailua Beach, a boat or kayak trip to the Kaneohe Bay Sandbar or 2 to 5 minutes from popular hiking trails.
Listen to the gentle rain as you sleep, awaken to the sound of birds greeting the sun, and then take an easy drive to Kailua or Lanikai beach, Kualoa Ranch or catch a boat to the sandbar in Kaneohe Bay.
The studio apartment has been renovated recently and is in excellent condition. New appliances and cabinetry in the kitchen make meal preparation a breeze. It occupies the ground floor of our home (we live upstairs) and has its own private entrance.
The neighborhood is very quiet and there is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill, although we recommend a car for the best Oahu experience. Off street parking is available for one car.
Wi-Fi and cable TV are provided as is a charging station for phones and tablets. A laptop friendly desk has power and a second charging station. You may use our laundry equipment if you schedule your use with your host.
The patio is amid a tropical garden and has a barbeque grill, table, and chairs for outside dining and relaxation.
There is a guest parking area in our driveway and a quiet path to the ocean side of the house that leads to the private entrance to your apartment, through a patio with barbeque grill, table, and chairs.
The apartment is on the ground floor of our residence, we live upstairs and will respect your privacy. We are happy to offer advice or recommendations to enhance your stay.
There is a popular hiking trail that originates nearby.

Summary: Very clean property with nice sized kitchen/bathrooom areas and single room. A good size for a single traveler or a couple (with maybe a baby or very small child.) Great views from your patio including of the bay and from the neighborhood.The hosts are very nice and can offer advice or information about local sights etc, if you want it. There is parking for a single small to moderate sized vehicle and the hosts reserve 2 days a week for guest to use the washer and dryer, but you can arrange to use anytime if needed. Wifi was fine for anything I needed to do online. Be aware that this is an actual neighborhood, not a tourist party site. It is quiet in the sense of no parties or late night noise, but like many real Hawaiian neighborhoods, the fact that windows are open, people are outdoors and the houses are close together means that you can hear a lot of different ambient noises in the day/evening, and also the neighbors can hear you. So if you want to play music or videos, or have phone conversations late at night you might want to go elsewhere.
