Summary: My recent stay at Grand Velas was a bit of a splurge—but absolutely worth it. From start to finish, the experience exceeded expectations in every way. A huge thank you to Claudia, our personal concierge, who went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary trip was both memorable and joyful. Her attentiveness and warmth truly made a difference. The service overall was exceptional. Every staff member—from the bellman to housekeeping to the pool attendants—was professional, friendly, and eager to help. It’s clear that service is a top priority here. The resort itself is stunning. The adults-only infinity pool was a serene oasis, and the gym facilities were top-notch. And the food—just wow. Every meal was outstanding, but a special shoutout goes to Cocina de Autor. As a Michelin-starred restaurant, my expectations were high, but the chef delivered a world-class experience that rivaled (and in some cases surpassed) other star-rated restaurants I’ve visited. Thank you to everyone at Grand Velas for an unforgettable stay. We’ll definitely be back!
