About this space
A beautiful home perfect for a get away in York. A short 15 minute walk from the famous York Minster and only 10 minutes from the City Bar Walls, our home is ideally located for exploring the city. It has been newly refurbished to make a modern and spacious space. There's plenty of room for up to 4 guests with the bonus of two bathrooms. Free street parking is available upon request.
The space
Ground Floor:
There is a fully equipped kitchen which makes home cooking nice and easy if eating out isn’t your thing! Kitchen appliances include a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. We also host a dining room with a large table and four chairs. There is an electric log effect heater in the dining room. The living room is a very cozy place to chill out with an indoor fireplace, sofa and two large bean bags. You can enjoy your favorite TV shows or movies with the Amazon Firestick (log in with your own accounts). Please note, you will need to bring your own logs to use the living room fireplace.
First Floor:
At the top of the stairs are two double bedrooms. To the front of the house, is the second bedroom which contains a very comfortable double sofa bed with mattress topper. (This is always made up as a bed.) There is built in cupboard for storage space, and a desk and chair for those who wish to work from from. The master bedroom is towards the rear of the house and comprises of a king sized bed, dressing room and en-suite bathroom.
Both the en-suite bathroom and downstairs family bathroom consist of a toilet, sink, bath with shower above, making sharing with your group a breeze!
Exterior:
A south facing yard is accessible from the living room and makes a great spot to enjoy a coffee in the sun when the weather is nice. Outside there are a table and chairs.
Parking is on street. This is a free facility however you must notify my property management team of your car registration plate upon booking if you will need this facility. We will log your car details with York council online.

You'll have access to the entire house apart from one locked wardrobe in the master dressing area.
Other things to note
PARKING
As per the listing details, we must be notified of your car registration plate upon the time of your booking if you wish to use the free parking facility. Your details will be logged electronically with York Council. Please make sure you receive a confirmation from my property management team that it has been registered (parking without registering your car registration plate is likely to result in a parking fine).
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.
TRAVEL COT
A travel cot and mattress are available to borrow upon request, subject to availability, and at an additional cost of £20. Please ensure you message before hand so that I can arrange for the installation. Guests will need to bring their own cot bedding, including a bottom sheet. (I am afraid highchair requests cannot be met).
