Positive: It’s a lovely apartment, really spacious with everything you need and super comfy beds. The complex is lovely with a pool and gym, a supermarket nearby and loads of small local restaurants and food carts round the corner. The more let’s say ‘sanitised’ and touristy bits are not far, a 10/15 minute walk, and there’s a lovely cenote just 10 mins away. Lots of people have commented about the area/state of the roads in other reviews but it really feels very safe and people are friendly and helpful. The WiFi is really good if you need to work etc.

Negative: There can be entire days where you just smell burning plastic because of things going on around the area but that’s not really the fault of the property. Maybe a few more things in the kitchen - only one wine glass and no bottle opener so we had to borrow one from a neighbour! There are power cuts, we had a couple during our stay, but the power tends to come back after an hour or so.

Summary: A great place to spend a longer time and feel like home!
