1 Bedroom Apartment with Guest Services, Kitchen and Laundry
The apartment is a completely private part of our house for guests exclusive use. It includes an office, kitchenette, sitting room, bedroom and en-suite. Located in a quiet area in the historical village of Harrietsham, nestled at the bottom of the North Downs is five minutes walk from the Pilgrims Way and stunning views from the top of the Downs.
We are a 5 mins drive to Leeds Castle & 35 minutes to the City of Canterbury. Guests have their own private entrance, small private garden fenced in, an individual workspace area/office with a desk (this room also has the clothes airer and ironing board), sitting room including full kitchen and a double bedroom with ensuite.
Guests enter through a room with a home office set up, which can also include a travel cot (please request if required) and leads to the main living area. The kitchen is equipped with a breakfast table, cooker, toaster, microwave, cafetiere, fridge, washing machine and cupboards with crockery and cutlery and other utensils. Complimentary tea, coffee, and a welcome pack is provided which will include your preferred choice of milk, bread, butter, jams, yoghurts, cereals, water, biscuits and bananas.
In the Sitting Room area there is a comfortable two seater settee, a sofa-bed (please let me know if you require this), a mirror, TV and free fast Wifi . Magazines, books and a couple of board games are available to read/play during your stay.
A door from the sitting room leads into the bedroom with a King sized bed and individually controlled bedside lights on each side, a blackout blind just perfect for a good night's sleep and a chair.
The ensuite shower room includes a wardrobe with hanging space to the left, two bath robes, extra bed linen and a blanket with some shelves for non hanging items.
There is complimentary soaps, shampoo, conditioner and toilet rolls for your convenience together with a hairdryer.
Guests have exclusive use of the entire apartment and gain access through a private wrought iron gate to the right of the property leading into the small garden (fully fenced in) with a table and two chairs. The flat door opens up into a room with a workplace desk where they can also leave luggage or where the travel cot can be put if travelling with an infant under 2. Then proceed to the living area and bedroom/en-suite accommodation.
A designated free parking space is on the right hand side of the drive.
There is an outside automatic light which lights the pathway leading to the Flat's private entrance when it's dark. There is a self-check in Lock Box.
