Turtle Dunes (Unit 1C) is a fabulous oceanfront view condominium in the Dunes Club! The Dunes Club is a beautiful beachfront condominium on Cape San Blas. It is a secure, gated complex of 15 luxury condominiums that were completed in 2004. It is located on a gorgeous stretch of white, sandy beach that was ranked number one in America that is never crowded. Amenities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, boat and trailer storage, beach boardwalk, building elevator, and one assigned and covered parking spot underneath the building. Free High Speed Wireless is also available.
Our unit is a 1st floor unit offering an open and relaxed atmosphere with breathtaking views and private stairs that access the pool area. The unit can also be accessed by an elevator from the ground floor. This beautiful unit includes three bedrooms and two full bathrooms that can sleep a party of 8 comfortably. The community also offers a private gulf front pool perfect for those afternoon cooldowns.
This unit is the perfect place for a great getaway. The gulf front living room features a twin sleeper sofa and queen sleeper sofa (both cannot be used at the same time), a well stocked entertainment center with a 42 inch plasma tv with cable, Blueray player and an electric fireplace in the TV stand. The living room has sliding glass doors that lead out to a large deck with expansive and beautiful Gulf views.
The spacious kitchen is a cook’s dream – well equipped with new, high quality large and small appliances, utensils and dishes. There is a full size pantry for storage as well. The kitchen has seating for 4 individuals at the bar as well as a separate dining room table that can accommodate 6 additional people.
The gulf front master bedroom with balcony entrance has a king-size bed, cable TV, full bath with double vanities and tub/shower combo, and large walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, LCD TV with cable, DVD player and a full bath that connects to the hallway. The third bedroom has bunk beds with a LCD TV and a DVD player.
The gulf front deck overlooks the beach and heated pool and has table seating for six. The deck also has a large gourmet grill and private stairs down to the pool area (all units are accessible by elevator as well). Soak in the sound of the waves and enjoy the beautiful view of the beach.

Summary: We loved our stay! It was perfect for our family of 5. Our favorite part was having the boardwalk at our back door! I will say that its not a super stocked space. There were several things that I was expecting to already be in place, based off of my experience of staying in other similar townhouses, condos, cabins, etc. Examples were dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towel, dish towels. These are items commonly provided to guests, in my experience. We didn't realize and had to go out to purchase these types of items. If they aren't provided, perhaps it should be noted in the housing information. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay. That certainly wasn't a deal breaker, but more annoying than anything.
